Week 10

Frosh QB Stidham (24-28, 311 PY) gets first college start here at K-State squad that is 11-5 in Snyder’s last 16 games as home dog (1-1 this year).
Bears are 7-0, winning true road games 56-21 at SMU, 66-7 at Kansas; they’ve scored 56+ points in six of seven games, but now have different QB. K-State lost last four games, last two by combined 78-9; four of last five Wildcat games went over the total.

Favorites are 6-1 vs spread in last seven Buffalo-Kent games; Bulls won last three series games, by 3-37-8 points- they won two of last three at Kent. Buffalo split its four road games, is 4-2 in last six tries as favorite on road. Flashes lost four of last six games; their last two losses were by 31-48 points. Last three Buffalo games went over total; last four Kent games stayed under.

Appalachian State won its last six games, scoring 41.8 ppg; they ran for 294 yards in 37-32 (+14) win at Arkansas State LY- they outgained the Red Wolves 549-314. Ark State won its last four games, scoring 46 ppg; they’re 1-3 as road underdogs under Anderson. App State won both its I-A home games by 31-13 scores. Last four Ark State games went over total; five of seven App State’s I-A games stayed under.

Western Michigan won its last four games, scoring 45.8 ppg, but they’ve lost four of last five home games vs Ball State- they won 42-38 last year in Muncie. Broncos won last two road games, 49-14/58-28; they’re 13-6 as road favorites since 2006. Cardinals lost five of last six games; they’re 30-12 as road underdogs since ’06, just 1-2 this year. Six of last seven Ball State games stayed under total.

Off-field problems forced Missouri to suspend QB Mauk; they scored 12 points total in three straight losses, so they tried to bring him back, but he got suspended again (for season) before he could play in another game. True freshman QB Lock is completing 50.7% of passes. Miss St. won last three games, scoring 44 ppg; five of its six losses this year are by 18+ points- its only SEC road win was 17-9 at Auburn.

Underdogs covered four of last five Nevada-Fresno games; Bulldogs won last three series games by 16-18-20 points. Nevada won two of last three visits here, is 1-2 on road this year, with win 24-21 at Buffalo. Fresno St is 1-6 vs I-A teams, with every loss by 14+ points; they’re only win was 31-28 comeback win over UNLV in last home games. Six of seven Fresno games this season went over; last five Wolf Pack games stayed under.
