Take ‘Over’ 203 L.A. Lakers at Atlanta (7 p.m., Friday, Dec. 4)
Kobe Bryant announced that this will be his last season – and good riddance! Maybe that will mean he will play less and the Lakers offense should improve. This will be Kobe’s last ever game in Atlanta, and I’m sure the Hawks will want to send him out with a blowout loss. They won’t take it easy on the Lakers in this one. Los Angeles is one of the worst defensive teams in the league, allowing 106 points per game. They have allowed six straight opponents to score at least 100, and I think that the high-scoring Hawks could break 110 in this game. This will be the Lakers’ third game in four nights and I don’t see them being up for much defense. Atlanta has scored over 100 points in three straight home games and is going to have fresh legs for this game. I like Atlanta to get to around 110-115 points and the Lakers to score in the 90’s and this one to go ‘over’.
