BOISE STATE (-11.5) over Washington
10:15 p.m. ET
We kicked off the college football season last night here with a winner on Utah and tonight we’ll lay the points with another dangerous home favorite. While it’s true Washington Head Coach Chris Peterson is quite familiar with the Boise State field, system and players, the bottom line is that there is a huge talent gap between these two teams. As reported in the last issue of the Bondi Bulletin, the Huskies have just 14 seniors, and a combined 71 freshmen and sophomores. The losses on defense included three NFL draft picks among the first 44 chosen last year. That doesn’t bode well for a young team that will be facing a team in Boise State that possesses one of the strongest home field advantages in college football. The Broncos have won 102 of their last 110 games straight up, while covering 60% of their games on the blue field since 1992. Lay the double digits!
