Some of the best betting value in college football is hiding beyond the BCS, in the small conferences. Each week, Sports Profits System Investors will look at the little programs that could help you make big cash this college season.
Total team: Western Kentucky Hilltoppers
This week: 65.5 vs. Louisiana Tech
The Hilltoppers offense failed to show up against the Vanderbilt Commodores in Week 1, but we expect all of that to change when they take on Louisiana Tech in Week 2. This is not going to be a matchup that features a lot of defense. Western Kentucky QB Brandon Doughty was pretty much shutdown against the Commodores and you can believe he’s chomping at the bit to get back on the field.
Louisiana Tech managed to put 52 points on the board in the first half of its contest with Southern U and have a veteran QB at the helm in Florida transfer Jeff Driskel. Tech should be able to match the offensive intensity that Western Kentucky will bring and we wouldn’t be surprised if this turns out to be one of the higher-scoring games of the season.
