Monumental win for Temple last week against Penn State for the first time since 1941 and after 39 consecutive series defeats! There’s no question the Owls pushed the Lions around physically dominating them. But that victory makes Cincinnati cheap today. I’m tempted to take the Bearcats at less than a touchdown. But their defense is crap. Last year they allowed 27.2 a game and somehow yielded 33 points and Virginia with QB Brewer in the Military Bowl. But think about this total for a moment. The entire planet witnessed Temple sacking Hackenturd 10 times last week. Yet, this total opens at 51 and goes way up this week? It doesn’t make much sense. Kiel is light years ahead of the Turd and always extremely accurate. Plus he’s not getting sacked 10 times. Temple has a couple of really quick guys offensively and the QB can run. I think this could be a surprising shootout. Keep your eye on Cincinnati’s dynamite senior tandem at wide receiver in Mekale McKay and Chris Moore. These guys can really make plays. This will likely be the lowest Cincinnati total this year. Last year they had home games that produced 69, 100, and 92 points. All of a sudden this # doesn’t look that high.
