The New York Mets outlasted the Atlanta Braves 10-7 in 10 innings Sunday for their seventh consecutive win.
The Mets have been just thumping the ball during the streak, outscoring their opponents 48-29.
The Mets have all but wrapped up the NL East, now sitting a massive 9.5 games ahead of the Washington Nationals and will look to extend that lead when they host the Miami Marlins Monday.
New York, currently -180 home favorites, will send Logan Verrett to takes on Miami’s Justin Nicolino.
