Phoenix is most likely in for a battle in this series but game one should be a good chance for the Mercury to get off to good start with a win. Both of these teams faced adversity in the season losing their stars for a portion of the season but Phoenix has Brittney Griner back and looks poised to make a run.
They finished very strong and had a chance to get to the top of the Western Conference, finishing just short of Minnesota for first place (2 games back). They also had a 3-2 record against the Shock with a couple battles to the end so this series should be as good as they come. Look for Phoenix to be very focused and get a win in this one so take them with a lot of confidence. Mercury 85-73.
