INDIAN COWBOY
7-Unit Play. #294. Take Over 49.5 Calgary vs. Hamilton (Friday @ 7:35pm est)
3-Unit Play. #296. Take Winnipeg +6 over Edmonton (Saturday @ 4:05pm est)
We roll with the Over on Friday between two teams that are 10-3 and 8-4 respectively. The last time these two teams met the final score was 24-23 with Calgary winning a tight contest by 1 point at home as Hamilton was easily inside the 6 point underdog road tag that was placed on them. The total in that game was placd at 53.5 and it went under the posted total. This time around the total is a bit lower under 50 and we believe it has a decent shot at going over. Note that Calgary did not play their best in their last game giving up 23 points where they were favored by 9 points and ended up winning 25-23. Prior to that they had 3 of 4 relatively easy covers. You have a Hamilton team that scored just 18 points in their last game against Edmonton and simply did not play well as they were 6 point chalk and lost outright 18-25 which has to irk this team. Prior to that they had scored 35 and 42 points and each time this team has underperformed offensively they have done well. For example this team scored 13 points against Montreal and then posted 31 against Saskatchewan or posting 23 against Montreal and then posting 42 against Toronto. Note this team has not lost back to back games in forever as well consistently bouncing back. So you have two teams that did not play well in their last game and both are looking to bounce-back. This is a nice spot for Hamilton to be a high quality underdog and very well win this game Outright which is why they are a small underdog this week. Regardless of the side, look for both sides to put up their fair share of points today. As per Winnipeg and Edmonton, quality underdog here. Winnipeg only has 4 wins this year and they played admirably in their last game losing 23-25 against Calgary as 9 point underdogs. Prior to that they beat Saskatchewan and this team has been showing more promise of late. Plus, remember this team was routed the last time these two played each other 3-32 on July 25th and that revenge alone is worth a shot here on Winnipeg to hang tough this weekend. Let’s roll with these two selections as we set up a strong run to close the 2nd half of the CFL Season.
