Wild reassign C Dalpe
The Minnesota Wild reassigned center Zac Dalpe to the Iowa Wild of the American Hockey League on Friday.
Dalpe totaled 20 points (10 goals, 10 assists) in 117 NHL games during parts of five seasons with Carolina, Vancouver and Buffalo (2010-15).
The 6-foot-2, 200-pound Dalpe led Rochester of the AHL in goals (16) and ranked third in shots (135), totaling 28 points in 48 games in 2014-15. The native of Paris, Ontario, was signed as a free agent by Minnesota on July 1 and was originally selected by Carolina in the second round (45th overall) of the 2008 NHL draft.
The team also placed right winger Brett Bulmer and defenseman Tyson Strachan on waivers. They will be assigned to Iowa on Saturday if they clear waivers.
