Ducks trim roster to 31
The Anaheim Ducks recalled right wing Brian McGrattan from San Diego of the American Hockey League and assigned four players to the same club.
Sent to San Diego were left wingers Max Friberg and Ondrej Kase, center Michael Sgarbossa and goaltender Matt Hackett.
The Ducks have 31 players on the training camp roster – 19 forwards, nine defensemen and three goaltenders.
