Rangers’ Gallardo was at his best versus Blue Jays

The Texas Rangers and Toronto Blue Jays begin their Divisional Playoff series north of the border Thursday afternoon with the visitors sending Yovani Gallardo to the bump to face David Price.
Gallardo put up decent numbers in 2015, but was his very best versus the Blue Jays. The righty went 2-0 in his two starts against Toronto and did not allow a run in his 13 2/3 innings of work.
“I just go up there and pitch my game,” Gallardo said in a press conference. “They know the way I pitch. It seems like I have faced those guys throughout my career. It’s not easy.”
Gallardo and the Rangers are being offered in the +205 vicinity for Game 1.
