Analysis: With the total coming down (or at least NOT going UP) I have to. I think Texas has a shot here. We all know Price is 1-5 in the post season – yes, that was then and this is now, but several Rangers’ regulars have hit him reasonable, and Gallardo pitched well against Toronto this season. God forbid it should be close late with a high pitch count for Price, given the Jays bullpen down the stretch. I am not going to simply parlay that Jays with the Royals – it’s +150 or more, and if it were that easy everyone would do it. My guess is that the Jays ML going up is for parlay reasons, because that’s probably what everyone is doing. “Everyone” doesn’t always win – so I’ll make the contarian bet here. If there’s one team that CAN outscore Toronto – it’s probably Texas.
