6-Unit Play. #55. Take Under 5.5 Goals Philadelphia vs. Tampa Bay (Thursady @ 7:3pm est)
Decent start to the NHL Season with the Over in LA yesterday. We look for similar success but with the Under in the contest between these two teams. Both these teams have gone through their respective changes and you have a Philadelphia team that comes in as a heavy underdog here. But, this is a Philly team that does have potential and they will likely do it on the defensive end. This is a TB team that got ran over by Philadelphia the last time they played each other in January of 2014 by a score of 7-3 and that likely has not been forgotten by many on the roster.
Plus, TB is absolutely stacked this year with offensive talent and Philadelphia will likely play it a bit more safe when it comes to their offensive scheme and focus more on the defensive side of the puck if they have any chance in this contest. Though most will take the Over given the offenisve prowess of TB, we will roll with the Under here this evening as we expect Philadelphia’s defense to be more stout than expected and this should be a hard fought victory for Tbay in a tight contest. 3-1 or 3-1 Tbay here.
