This will be a fierce defensive game with so much at stake and Minnesota has no problems with that. The Lynx are third in the WNBA in points allowed, fourth best in field goal shooting defense, allowing 41%, and fourth best at defending the three. After dropping game one, Minnesota had a must-win situation in game two and came through and played stellar defense, including allowing just 30 second half points. Minnesota will bring its A-game on defense again, on a 4-1-1 run UNDER the total when playing on two days rest. Indiana is home but not stellar on defense, sixth in the WNBA in points allowed and fourth worst allowing 44% shooting. Minnesota has that edge at the charity stripe, too, with Indiana ranked ninth in the league from the line. The Fever are 1-3-1 ATS against the Western Conference, as well as 7-2 UNDER against the West. Look for an all-out defensive battle with so much at stake and the UNDER is 4-1 when these teams clash, including 6-1 UNDER on this court. And Indiana may have home court but the mighty Minnesota Lynx are 10-4-1 ATS in the last 15 meetings at Indiana. Take Minnesota for my Playoffs Game of the Year and the UNDER in game three.
