There was a key injury at the QB position for Boise 3 weeks ago as Ryan Finley went down. Enter Brett Rypien as a red shirt Freshman. Brett Rypien’s next chance to continue proving his worth comes Friday night at Utah State, where at least a share of the Mountain West’s Mountain division lead will be on the line. His last two starts were against weak opposition of which he marveled.
But tonight, Rypien gets tested in a huge game against Utah St. Boise has a key injury problem as the leading RB in the nation, Jeremy McNichols , suffered a concussion last week. The Utah Aggies’ win over the Rams last home game was their 11th straight at home since losing 34-23 to Boise on Oct. 12, 2013. Much to do about Boise’ ranking and top 10 stats are based on playing bad teams. Utah St is a quality opponent and will bring it. TAKE UTAH ST
