These two teams haven’t faced off since last year at Galen Center and I’m sure the Trojans haven’t forgotten the outcome. Utah easily won that game 67-39 and tonight I see the Trojans getting the W. USC is coming off a big home win against Colorado 79-72 and the Trojans play their best ball at home going a perfect 15-0 at home. Utah has won 3-straight and is coming off an impressive road win over UCLA but tonight I see the Utes being over match against USC in SoCal. USC is 13-3-1 ATS in their last 17 home games and the favorite in this series is a perfect 4-0 ATS.DOC SPORTS

I think Houston is going to win this one big. Temple is set for a letdown after their big game with Villanova this week. Temple was blown out in that game and I think they will struggle again here. Houston beat Temple by 27 points on the road in the first meeting this year. They have played Temple tough since joining the conference and the Cougars are 4-0 ATS in this series. The Cougars have won six of their last seven games and this team has been very tough at home this season. Houston is 4-0 ATS in its last four home games and 6-1 ATS in their last seven overall. The Cougars are 5-2 ATS on Sundays and they are 11-4 ATS at home against a team with a winning record. Lay the points here.2-Unit Play. Take #835 Loyola-Chicago (+2.5)

I like the underdog in this one. Missouri State is coming off a bad loss at Wichita State in a game they lost by 31 points. I think that one crushed their confidence a bit. Loyola Chicago has won three of its last four games and are coming off an upset win over Northern Iowa. I think they have a lot of confidence and have a lot going for them right now. This team needs to get over .500 to make it to the postseason so they are very motivated to finish out strong.Allen Eastman

Game Analysis
Michigan comes into today’s game at Maryland with a 19-8 record, but 12 of those wins have come on their home court. Michigan is just 4-4 in true road games with those four losses all coming by 10 points or more with their average loss coming by 15.5 points per game. The Wolverines have not been a competitive bunch in their away games, and we expect that to be the case once again this afternoon. Michigan’s defense has been atrocious on the road this season. The Wolverines are giving up 74.5 points per game on 48.3% shooting from the field and 36.2% shooting from the field. Michigan’s defense has been even worse lately as they’ve allowed 75 points per game on 50.5% shooting from the field and 40.2% shooting from three-point land over their last five games. The Wolverines will face a Maryland offense that is averaging 77.4 points per game on 49.2% shooting from the field and 36% shooting from three-point land at home this season.Maryland returns home off a poor 68-63 road loss at Minnesota on Thursday night. The Terrapins also lost their previous game 70-57 at home to Wisconsin. Maryland played two of their worst offensive games of the season as they combined to shoot just 38.7% (41-106) from the field, 36.4% (12-33) from three-point land, and 63.4% (26-41) from the free throw line. Off those two poor performances and back at home where they recently lost, we expect a peak effort in this game. The Terrapins are 14-1 at home where they own an a terrific +15 point differential on the season. Maryland’s defense has been good at home while holding opponents to just 62.4 points per game on 40.2% shooting from the field and 27.4% shooting from three-point land. Maryland is in a terrific spot for a big bounce win, so we’ll lay the points with the Terrapins in this game on Sunday afternoon.
