3-Unit Play. Take #712 Davidson (-3)
over Rhode Island
(6 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 23)
Rhode Island is just 5-15 ATS in its last 20 road games and I think that Davidson will have the upper hand tonight. The Wildcats are coming off a big win over the top team in the league, St. Joe’s, and have some momentum. Remember that this is the same Davidson team that won the regular season A-10 title last year. I think that they are ready for a big finish to the year and that will include a win over a Rhode Island team that is struggling to stay above .500. Play Davidson.2-Unit Play. Take #726 Eastern Michigan (-6.5)
over Western Michigan
(7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 23)
Eastern Michigan has been very good at home this year. They are coming off a big home win over Toledo on Saturday and that is now four straight home victories for the Eagles. Eastern Michigan is outscoring people by an average of nine points per game on their home court. Western Michigan is coming off a big home upset of Central Michigan. Now they have to go on the road where they have been outscored by an average of 10 points per game this year. Eastern will want to make up for a bad loss in Kalamazoo earlier this season and will get a victory here.2-Unit Play. Take #732 Georgia Tech (-2)
over Clemson
(7 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 23)
I like the Yellowjackets in this one. They have not had a lot of success against Clemson over the past few years. That is odd since most people think of Clemson as a football school and Georgia Tech as more of a basketball school. But the Yellowjackets will turn it around at least for one day here. Tech is off a big win over Notre Dame on Saturday and they have played a lot of teams very tough at home. Georgia Tech was blown out up in Columbia two weeks ago and will want to avenge that loss. Clemson is just 1-4 ATS in its last five games and I like the home team.3-Unit Play. Take #749 Michigan State (-6)
over Ohio State
(9 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 23)
I will take Sparty here. This line jumps off the page at sharp bettors. Ohio State is considered one of the best programs in the Big Ten. They are ahead of Michigan State in the standings. But they are a big underdog at home here! Michigan State is on a 7-0 ATS run and they are clearly the better team here. They are outscoring opponents by an average of 16 points per game over their last five games and are getting it done in a big way on both ends of the floor. Ohio State was lucky to escape Nebraska with a win over the weekend in overtime. But I don’t think they will be as lucky here. Lay the points.2-Unit Play. Take #714 Buffalo (-6)
over Kent State
(6 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 23)
I am going with the home team in this early MAC start. The public is all over Kent State. Nearly 70 percent of all bets in this game are coming in on the Golden Flashes. But the line is moving the way of the Bulls. Buffalo is 6-2 ATS the last eight times they have hosted Kent State and Buffalo already won at KSU by nine points this year. Buffalo has covered seven straight in this series and I think they will tack on another home win against a team that has lost three straight on the road. Go with the homer.Allen Eastman

4 Unit Play. Take #712 Davidson -3.5
over Rhode Island
(6:00p.m., Tuesday February 23 CBSC)
This play is all on the play of Davidson at home! The Wildcats are 13-1 at home while the Rams of Rhode Island are 2-7 on the road. Rhode Island has dropped 2 out of 3 games as of late and their last road game the Rams lost by double-digits. Davidson has won 3-straight home games and have won 4 out of 5 games and tonight I see the Wildcats having no problem covering this small number at home. Rhode Island is 5-15-1 ATS in their last 21 road games and their road struggles continue tonight.February 23, 2016 at 1:46 pm #32200admin

MAX UNIT 3-Star CBB GAME OF MONTH
Boise State -6.5Analysis:First off, UNLV isn’t very good on the road. The Rebels are 2-8 in true away contests this season. They’ve failed to cover in their last four road matchups.
Second, the Rebels are near depleted. Already down big men Stephen Zimmerman and Ben Carter, their two leading rebounders, the Rebels now won’t have key reserve Dwayne Morgan, who had been averaging close to 20 minutes. He’s out with a shoulder injury. That leaves the Rebels down to six scholarship players.
The third key factor here is the situation. UNLV is off a crazy overtime victory against in-state rival Nevada this past Saturday at home. The Rebels tied the game on a 3-pointer by Patrick Macaw right before the buzzer sending the game into overtime.
The spot is a double edge sword because not only do the Rebels have to come down from that high, pulling out a game against their most hated rival, but Boise State is rested, ready and has revenge. The Broncos last played on Wednesday. They blew a 76-61 lead to lose on the road to New Mexico in their last game.
So not only are the Broncos itching to erase that stench, but have payback for a 10-point road loss to the Rebels. UNLV had Zimmerman and Carter in that matchup. The two combined for 28 points and 19 rebounds in that game.
Boise State is up-tempo. The Rebels are going to be hard-pressed to keep up with the Broncos being short-handed and at a tough road venue.

756 Boise St. -6.5 (-110) vs 755 UNLV
Analysis: Boise State was cruising along at the Thomas & Mack with an 8-point Halftime lead in Vegas. Like a rough night in Sin City the Broncos blew the lead and lost the game thanks to 18 turnovers. James Webb III should have a better go of it inside the paint as the Rebels are a smaller squad than the first meeting. UNLV will be without Dwayne Morgan but even more important in this match-up should be the loss of both Stephen Zimmerman & Ben Carter. The two big guys combined for 28 points and 19 rebounds in the first meeting. Without them the pressure on Derrick Jones Jr. to slow down Webb III who has averaged 19 1/2 points per game along with 12 rebounds in his last two MWC games. Patrick McCaw hit ( 5 of 6 ) three’s in first meeting and will need to have those type numbers if the Rebels are to win on the road. I like Boise State to roll in this one against the shorthanded Rebels.February 23, 2016 at 3:12 pm #32209admin
