    WUNDERDOG

    Game: Orlando Magic (701) @ Philadelphia 76ers (702)
Time: Tuesday 02/23 7:05 PM Eastern
    Pick: Orlando -5.5 (-105)
Philadelphia had one of its few wins this season at Orlando 96-87 on Jan. 20 as the Magic shot 39.3 percent overall and made just four of 17 three-point attempts. The Magic has won three of its last five games, but is coming off a 105-102 loss against Indiana on Sunday when Even Fournier scored 23 points and Nikola Vucevic added 19 points but it couldn’t finish it off down the stretch. The 76ers have lost four in a row, including 129-103 at Dallas on Sunday as Jahlil Okafor scored 31 points but the weak Philly defense allowed the Mavericks a .482 field goal percentage. Orlando has had success on this court with a 25-9 ATS record in Philadelphia and the Magic is on a current 4-1 ATS run overall and 4-1 ATS after a loss. The road team is 4-0 ATS the last four meetings and Orlando looks to avenge its earlier loss to the hapless Sixers. Lay the points on the Magic.

    4 Unit Play. Take #704 Washington -4.5
    over New Orleans
    (6:05 p.m., Tuesday, February 23)
The New Orleans Pelicans have struggled on the road all season long going 7-21 and I know their last road game A. Davis blew up the Detroit Pistons but I don’t see that happening again. Washington has won 3-straight home games and all 3 games were by double-digits and tonight I see the Wizards controlling the tempo. Tonight I see the backcourt of Washington winning this game and I see John Wall having a much better shooting performance then he did against Miami in their last game. Last 9 meetings between these two teams New Orleans is 2-7 ATS and Washington is 5-0 ATS when playing on 2-days of rest.

We look for a new season high here in the NBA as with a win today we will be at +$7140 which will be fantastic. Obviously with a CBB now over +$5100 as well, we have now prouced +$11,600 in combined nba/cbb profits and with a win today we will move to close to +$13,000 as we also have a 3-unit CBB selection after a nice 7-unit winner yesterday behind Miami. Once again, our goal is +$20,000 as we love our clients and we will work as hard as we can to reach it – and also move to +$50,000 in combined nba/cbb profits since the start of the 2013 season which is also #1 in the Country as well. We roll with Denver here as they hook up against Sacramento. Note, that Denver lost to Sacramento in what was essentially a home and home contest for Sacramento as they just beat this team 116-110, this is a small public fade as well as the public is on Sacrmaneto plsu the points but we have been very high on Denver for some time. We like that this team comes off a 20 point loss to Boston at home when they were just 3 point undedogs and also lost to Sacramento by 6 points on the road. Remember, before that this team had beat Detroit on the road outright by 11 points, beat New York outright by 5 points on the road, beat Chicago, nearly beat Utah and easily covered the 8 point line, routed Toronto and nearly beat the Pacers on the road losing to them in overtime. This team has a lot of bite and there is something else that is underlying here. Vivek Ranadive, the owner of the Kings fired the Nuggets head coach and if you asked Vivek again if it was the right decision, he would say no. He fired him for Karl and now these two coaches who have both been the head coach of the Kings face each other. We can’t see Coach Malone losing two straight to Sacramento here especially as they come off a 20 point loss in their last game. The Kings are 1-5 ATS when facing a team with a losing home record, the Nuggets are 4-0 ATS after a straight up loss of more than 10 points and 16-5 ATS coming off a straight up loss in general which means you have a group of guys that are listening to their head coach.

    4-Unit Play. #704. Take Washington -4.5
    over New Orleans
    (Tuesday @ 7:05pm est)
As per Washington, we like the fact this team lost by a bucket to New Orleans the last time they hooked up and Washington will be more than motivated to get their revenge. Decent public fade and New Orleans is notorious for let downs after a big performance in their previous game as expect Davis to play well but not remotely close to his 59 points in his last game. Washington will be up for this game with revenge, plus as they come off a 20 point loss to Miami on the road, they will look to bounce-back in a big way here. We nearly made this the step-out today but we liked the fact that Denver also has revenge and also comes off a 20 point loss as well – and their loss to Sacramento was more recent and the line was smaller.
Other NBA Thoughts: Small lean on Philly as give them credit since the front office changes, they have put together 8 wins now. Small lean on Washington as New Orleans likely has a let down here after the big win in their last game. Lean on Utah as well as they likely beat Houston by about 8-9 points per our models and it’s a good public fade to boot as well.
